Bulgari has unveiled its latest phenomenal jewelry collection, with more than 100 one-of-a-kind jewels and high-end watches, all created to be worn with pure cheerfulness, as in Italian Festas. To accompany the display, Bulgari launched a book written by jewelry historian, Vivienne Backer, “The Joy of Gems,” published by Assouline for its special edition books.
The splendid event took place in one of the most significant social institutions in the serenissima Republic of Venice, the palace of Scuola Grande della Misericordia. Each room of Scuola Grande della Misericordia was marvelously decorated in time to introduce the new collection. “The show was like a true Fellini movie,” and attended by special guests—amongst, one could spot Lily Aldridge, Bella Hadid, and Alicia Vikander. By glory above all, the Michelin starred Executive Chef Luca Fantin amazed guests with unforgettable dishes inspired by the collection itself.
Bulgari, as one of the most outstanding brands specialized in high jewelry, showcased precious diamonds and inimitable stones next to one another, creating an extraordinary arrangement where necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets gleamed as never before. Models walked in fairytale beige dresses to feature the precious gemstones and opulent diamonds, all done in classic and surreal designs. No doubt Bulgari got it right again; a lady may wear the simplest outfit, but a splendid jewel definitely helps her elegance bloom.
The glorious atmosphere, accompanied by an orchestra, highlighted the brand’s Italian heritage, making this collection a true representation of traditional Festas—performers added a magical sense to the event, whilst Italian composers Ennio Morricone, and Nino Rota enchanted guests with their music. As the pearl of the moon got bolder, DJ Graziano della Nebbia brought everyone to the dance floor.
